To welcome spring, we took a group photo in front of the cherry blossoms at the main gate of Seoul National University.

Professor Ha gave an invited talk at the workshop “International Conference on PDEs-Fluid Dynamics and Kinetic Theories” which was held in The Hong Kong Polytechnic Univ. from March 29th to April 1, 2026.

From March 22 to March 29, Prof. Ha, Dr. Wang, and Jaemoon Lee visited the Yau Mathematical Sciences Center to continue their collaboration on collective dynamics. In particular, Prof. Ha gave two distinguished lectures (C.C. Lin Distinguished Lecture hosted by the Department of Mathematics, Tsinghua University) on March 25th and March 27th. Moreover, Dr. Wang and Jaemoon Lee also gave one-hour invited lectures at the Yau Mathematical Sciences Center.

The workshop named Collective Dynamics Day was held at SNU on 19 March 2026. Prof. Thieullen and several HYKE members gave talks. After the talks, we had further discussions on the topics presented.

Here is good news about our former member, Junhyeok Byeon. He started his position as an assistant professor at Chonnam National University in March 2026. Congratulations!

Ph.D. student Jewoo Lee in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at SNU became a new HYKE member on 3rd March 2026. Congratulations!
